Position Overview
We are a well-established retail flooring showroom serving the Toledo area and are seeking a Flooring Sales Designer to join our team. This role is ideal for a professional who enjoys working directly with customers, delivering thoughtful design solutions, and closing high-quality retail sales.
You will guide customers through flooring selections while providing a polished, consultative experience through the entire sales process.
Key Responsibilities
• Welcome and assist customers in a retail showroom environment
• Consult with customers on flooring selections that fit their style, space, and budget
• Sell hardwood, luxury vinyl, tile, laminate, and carpet
• Present products confidently and professionally
• Prepare accurate quotes and proposals
• Follow up on active projects, quotes, and customer inquiries
• Close sales and build long-term customer relationships
• Coordinate with install teams to support successful installations
Qualifications
• Sales experience in flooring
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional demeanor and customer-focused approach
• Comfortable working with pricing, measurements, and product specifications
• Organized, dependable, and motivated to perform
• Design experience is a plus, but not required

Compensation: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
